We talk about how this affects the discussion as him being the No-Gi GOAT, and how this potentially affects the Pro-BJJ Scene. We talk about Fight to Win paying out 25% more than 2018 in a historic fighter payout of 1.2 million. As well as some other stats from the promotion Maine talks about the interview he did with Keith Krikorian and Interviews with fighters that will be appearing on the Grappling Rewind YouTube Page. In our Hot Takes of 2019 section we talk about how we have seen more discussion of wrestling in the modern BJJ Pro Meta, as well as an increase in the amount of lapel players and lapel guards in use at the highest levels.

We also speculate about the number of entrants we will see in the North American trials at ADCC.

In the statistics section of the show powered by Emil he talks about how we have fewer returning champions in 2019 that previous years he proves this with the dark arts known as math. In the end of episode discussion we talk about plans for 2020.
